When you are considering purchasing a brand new XBOX then there's a choice of only two types the Arcade and Elite - there were other types but they are now discontinued. The massive downside to the Arcade is the disk drive - its capacity is only 256 MB this means that you will not get a chance to download the majority of game demos and definitely not any kind of movies. You have been warned. Only purchase an Arcade if you don't wish to download !.

A lot of people look at buying a bundle ie console as well as games etc.. The primary thing to consider when comparing Xbox bundles is the main system and their individual specifications as well as their list price if bought singularly.

A typical Xbox bundle has the console as well as at least two game titles. As part of the bundle it's also possible to get something like a wireless controller or sometimes trial membership to Xbox Live (this gives you access to online gaming). It's worth mentioning that you need to connect the system directly to your own wireless router or purchase a wireless network adaptor. This adaptor is not normally a part of a bundle.

So what you need to do if you want the best value out of your Xbox 360 bundle would be to , compare the individual price of all included game titles as well as accessories and obviously add that to the price of the console. In many instances the bundle can include an unpopular title which will be unpopular for obvious reasons !. Preferably you want a bundle with two well-known and popular titles.

Don't forget the size of the hard drive is critical if you are going to be doing a lot of downloads. Look at 120GB at least if you plan on doing large amounts of gaming !.

It is certainly possible to find an Xbox bundle that actually saves you money over purchasing each product individually.
